美國一些大學每年會有一次Splash Day，讓高中生，甚至國中生來體驗一下坐在校園上課的滋味。這些課程不一定是大學教授教，絕大部分是由大學生教。所教授的課程也不一定是正常的大學科目，有可能是類似”即興表演入門”之類比較好玩的課程。Splash Day主要的目的不是學習(當然，你的腦袋也不會空手而歸)，Splash Day主要的目的是讓高中生可以體驗在大學殿堂上課的經驗，可能感受一下跑教室的過程。這類課程通常都不貴，我非常推薦有時間的學生去參加。
